Privacy & Refund Policy

GeoTrippin’ Adventure Company

Simply put: the privacy of our clients is of utmost importance. Your information will never be sold. The information provided to schedule a tour is never utilized in any other way but for transactions with us.

Changes and Cancellation Policy

Cancel tours no less than 48 hours in advance for a full refund.  Please email bkkayaker@gmail.com with your name, booking number, and details at least 48 hours prior to your tour to get a full refund.

We are holding a space just for you to join us on an adventure at a specific location, date, and time. Just like any other cruise or trip, by collecting payment before issuing tickets we maximize our tour groups’ experiences and provide the highest levels of safety for our guests while participating in a scheduled adventure with us. As many of our tours sell out, please be mindful of our strictly enforced refund policy. Let us know as soon as you can if your plans change. You can always enjoy a Florida adventure with us next time.

We are so glad you agree to join us in protecting the job security for our staff and guides by being mindful for others time and resources.

Our grace period is far more flexible than an airline when it comes to cancellations. Tours canceled less than 48 hours in advance will not be refunded. If changes are needed after the grace period (with in 48 hrs), you must speak with a reservation agent by calling (904) 771-3272  during regular business hours to reschedule:

  • +48 Hours Notice:  Reschedule, refund, or receive a raincheck.
  • 48 Hours or Less Notice:  Reschedule or receive a raincheck.
  • 24 hours or less: Give, sell, or throw your tickets away. So cancel whatever else came up and go kayaking…. You need it more than anyone!

No Show*: Call before your tour to advise us on your unavoidable circumstances or scheduling challenges. Call after your scheduled tour time; there will be no refund and it will cost full price to reschedule. To skip these uncomfortable conversations all together keep us informed. Its ok. Really! We still love you… In fact, we are really worried about you.

*No call, no show or running late = no refunds, no appeals.

Plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Adequate travel time is key! If you arrive late, your adventure may have already begun without you. We do our best to get you on the next tour. Otherwise tardiness without notice is handled the same as a no show…

Cancellation Due to Weather

Rain means you get a free adventure upgrade! Wind and lightning… now that gives our safety experts pause. Thunderstorms come and go so quickly in Florida. Be mindful our trips still depart in rain. Your guide reserves the right to ‘raincheck’ a tour when there are prolonged conditions that make the tour unsafe. Tours may be postponed for passing weather. We will do our best to depart tours when it is safe to do so.

Florida is a different world compared to weather patterns most everywhere else in the world.  A random storm is absolutely normal for summer in Florida. They quickly pass within 30-60 minutes.

Here is what to expect if there is inclement weather when you arrive for your tour:

  • Tours may be delayed up to 1 hour past initial launch time.
  • If unable to launch 1 hour past initial launch time the site manager or lead guide will determine whether the tour should be further postponed or canceled.
  • If there are spaces available guest may “rebook” on later tours the same day or evening.
  • Guests that do not stay through the 1st 1-hour weather hold will only be eligible for a raincheck.
  • Guests that stay through the 1st 1-hour weather hold, but choose to not wait through a longer weather hold will be eligible for a raincheck, or rebooked next available tour.  Refunds will be issued only when the tour is canceled by GeoTrippin’, and a rebooking is not possible.
  • When a tour is canceled by GeoTrippin’, guests should email the office for raincheck or rebooking at ______________________ .
