Since 2017, Ben has built a full-time career as an ecotour guide, delivering unforgettable experiences for guests while also strengthening the paddlesports community. He has given hundreds of lessons, certified dozens of guides and trip leaders, and—together with River Wind Kayaking (certification calendar)—has led ACA Instructor Development Workshops for paddlers from around the world.
As a certified American Canoe Association (ACA) Level 2 Coastal Kayak Instructor with a Trip Leader Endorsement and a member of the Safety Education Instructors Council since 2019, Ben is committed not just to safe and inspiring adventures but to building the next generation of leaders on the water.
Ben is a proud partner of the St. Johns County Visitors and Convention Bureau. His work has helped shine international attention on St. Augustine—the watersport capital of Northeast Florida—through discoveries like the region’s permanent bioluminescence display and the creation of the Dancing Dolphin Oyster Trail.
