I had a great time out on the water. I was a little intimidated by the current at first but our guide was amazing and I settled right in. The oyster beds were a very cool thing to see. I would definitely recommend to friend while visiting.Posted on Yelp![]()

We have used Geo Trippin for 3 kayak tours. Two bioluminescent tours in North Guana, and one more recently across the Mantanzas River into the oyster beds. Ben is a great guy very fun and knowledgeable.Posted on Google![]()

Ben did an excellent job of preparing us for paddling our kayaks on the Mantanza River and estauries explaining how the tides would affect us and proper paddling techniques. Is is very knowledgable of how the osyter beds, sea grass and mangroves support the ecological environment as well as the history of St. Augustine. We saw 4-5 dolphins and briefly the snout of a manatee as well as egrets, herons, comerants and osprey. It was an enjoyable excurison.Posted on Google![]()

Ben is a great guide who is wonderfully knowledgeable about the area and its ecosystems. We really appreciated learning about the oysters in the Matanzas river and loved seeing the dolphins hunting in the shallows with a few pelicans standing by for leftovers. Ben offered tips on paddling for more efficiency and a more comfortable ride. A beautiful day on the water, thanks Ben!Posted on Google![]()

Ben’s the best! My husband and I were looking at ways to learn more about the environment here in St. Augustine so we chose a kayak tour with Geotrippin’ Adventure Co. Ben was our guide and very knowledgeable and passionate about the ecosystem and this area specifically. We didn’t see a dolphin but we saw many beautiful birds, learned about the mangrove trees, the huge oyster beds and the role of the wetlands in maintaining a healthy balance. We went on the 4pm tour and had the most beautiful sky and sunset as we made our way back across the river. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Kayak through the inter coastal and salt marshes of St. Augustine My wife and I went on a two hour kayak trip. We had the best guide imaginable, Ben. He was very knowledgable about the wildlife we saw and the ecosystem we kayaked through. He couldn't have been more involved with the surroundings. When we return to the area we will definitely book another trip with them and request Ben be our guide.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Awesome kayak trip due to tour guide Our tour guide was Ben. He was amazing. He not only assisted in helping us with our kayak skills (thank goodness) but he brought the goods in knowing the area, showing us the animal life that was available during our tour (bald eagle was a highlight) discussing the environmental impact of past commercial choices and future expansion of more environmental choices. He threw in someHistory and many, many fun facts. We had an awesome time. No dolphins available to us today but we didn’t miss them- Ben was great! He was the best and made it an awesome time and we learned so much.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

On 6/9/23, I did the North Guana Eco Tour. My guide, Ben, was fabulous. He was able to share fascinating history of the area as well as scientific fun-facts about salt water marshes. I arrived early, and he was already there. He had everything set up. All I had to do was get into the kayak. I am looking forward to the bioluminescent tour I've booked with GeoTrippin in a few weeks. I plan to book several other trips. Thank you.Posted on Yelp![]()

Signed up for Mantanzas River guided tour. Got a text from Ben, the owner, the morning of my trip to advise me the heavy wind that day would make things challenging and he wanted to see if I would still be comfortable padding in those conditions. Rather than cancelling, he offered me the option of heading inland to paddle on Deep Creek in Hastings, about a 20 minute drive inland. So glad I took him up on it! The Creek had a very gentle flow so was easy to paddle. It meandered through a quiet and beautiful cabbage palm and live oak forest. Ben shared lots of fascinating information about local environmental challenges and was an expert guide, leading me through some interesting twists and turns around fallen trees, and even offered me some great tips for improving my paddling technique! Spotted a number of birds, lots of good-sized jumping fish, turtles, and a small gator sunning near a log. Ben assured me there were other gators lurking underwater, which added to the "other-worldiness" of the place! Would happily recommend Ben and his company and look forward to paddling with him next time I visit St. Augustine.Posted on Yelp![]()

Had a great experience doing the sunset kayak tour! We were able to see a lot of wildlife and the more the sun went down the fish became extremely active jumping out of the water. After it got dark was able to see the Bioluminescence! Then to wrap up the trip the ISS happened to fly over in the night sky and we also got to see a comet. This trip had a little bit of everything. Great adventure, highly recommended.Posted on Facebook![]()
